Season of Fusion (Part-I) - Monsoon

The seasons come and go, it's all the same every year... Like every year, I was waiting for the monsoon to arrive and was dying to experience the first rain of the season (Let me tell you I love walking in the rain, like to get drenched!) and I was expecting it to be a little late like last year. This year I was expecting it to be a special season for me but to my surprise it started a little shakily.

The first rain came much earlier than expected and I could not experience it the way I always wanted to. Just a little mellow, all I did was I sat with a cup of tea in my hand and stared at the drops of the first much awaited rain (there was somthing, some element that held me back from going out and taking a few drops of rain on the palms of my hands while it was drizzling!)... It drizzled at first and then slowly it started pouring, it rained for 20-25 minutes before the clouds cleared the way for blue sky. I went outside on the terrace this time with a glass of Mango shake in my hand (Yes! a cup of tea, a small break of 10 mins and a glass of mango shake :))... I had a look around and felt as if the rain had washed the air clean. All that was negative, had disappeared. What I was breathing was the wind in it's purest form, this brought me the feeling of happiness... delighted by all this I stood there admiring the beauty (and the time passed!)...

The very next day was dark and cloudy. I was out with a friend in the evening when it started raining, while we were taking a walk... And it wasn't any different this time round, I couldn't do what I love to, to walk in the rain. we took shelter, sat on the stairs of a building (the walk continued but down the memory lane)... It poured heavily that night, though I had shelter over my head... I was getting a feeling as if it was raining heavily on me, leaving me watery-eyed. It poured for quite some time... I left for home once it was over... I was riding (While in some trance!) for really long for the amount of distance I had to travel. It started pouring again, just as I reached home. I was watching it rain through the window glass... The warmth of home helped me relax, I don't exactly remember when I fell asleep...(the needles of watch moved really slow that night.)...

After having an eyeful of sleep, I woke up feeling something like hammer struck. The magical wind (this time in some other form.) helped me relax as the day progressed (while the needles still moved slowly!)... I left office with another friend of mine. We were riding our way home and it rained even on that day... This time the rain came as a surprise, there was nothing in the sky that showed the signs of rain, it started pouring all of a sudden... As if the rain had planned it that it won't let me escape this time, We both were all drenched within a fraction of a second! (and THAT something it was still there that had held me from going out in the rain past few times, but it looked helpless this time!)... And This time the drench of rain had made me Happy! Just like the wind on the other day. I was Delighted!

Kyunki Aaj Sachin Ka Birthday Hai!!

Raja, a Soooper friend of mine is moving to Banglore for next +/- 6 months and had planned a breakfast with close friends today 7am.
After having just a couple of hours of sleep last night I woke up EARLY in the morning that too on a SATURDAY (A BIG achievement for a lazy fella like me :D) and made it to the Hotel Savera on time and so did expected others (including Nilofar despite being known for bunking more often). (Now ofcourse those who had achieved something by not witnessing the Saturday sunrise ever! were skeptic about their record... and hence couldn't make it. :P).

As we met there, greeted each other and praised the living legend. It is his birthday and everyone remembered it (Well almost!), Yes! I'm talking of Sachin Tendulkar. Rakesh strongly believed it to be 25th April and not 24th. Others were sure and did not waste this oppurtunity to make a best bet with him "to pay the bill" if he was wrong (Proved Period!! thanks to the technology at hand).

As Rakesh was about to finish his cup of tea waiter brought the bill,
Rakesh: "it's on me!"
Raja grabbed the chance and handed over the bill amount to the waiter.
Rakesh "Kyun??"
on that Raja replied "Kyunki aaj Sachin ka birthday hai."

SACH is THE LEGEND & influence of Tendulkar.

P.S.:- (Not to mention that) we all are big fans of Tendlya (that is what we call him with affection and admiration)

And this I believe to be the best day, for me, to publish my first "story telling" blog post "KYUNKI AAJ SACHIN KA BIRTHDAY HAI!!" :)
